What is MokFit?

MokFit is a fitness application that allows users create their own workouts as well as find local fitness providers in their local area and book and pay for their services online.

How do I create an account on MokFit?

Creating an account is simple and easy to do. You can do this by:

  1. Go to mokfit.com and download MokFit from the Google Play Store
  2. Once the app loads. scroll through the introduction pages to the sign in page
  3. Hit the button “Sign up”
  4. Enter in a username/email address and password. You will need to re-enter your password to ensure you have this correct then
  5. Hit “Register”

It’s that easy. You will need to verify your account before you can access any of the MokFit features, so check your inbox of the email you used to sign in with and click the link. Once you are verified, you will be able to access all of the common areas within MokFit.

Please note, you will receive an email from ims@terrapages.com. If this email does not show up in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

Can I use Google or FaceBook to login?

Yes, that’s no problems.  Once you have downloaded and installed the application, scroll to the login page. There you will see the buttons to log in via Facebook and Google.  Follow the instructions then click Sign In.  It is as simple as that.

How to guides

Create a workout
  1. Open the main menu and press “Compose Workout”
  2. If you have customised your settings to activate tutorial, you will view the tutorial
  3. Select and add activities/exercises to include in your workout.
  4. When you have completed creating your workout, press the tick button on the top right corner.
Create an activity

To create an activity for a workout:

  1. Press on Activities in the main menu.
  2. Press on the + icon to proceed to add an activity.
  3. Name the activity to what you want.
  4. Select any equipments required to perform the activity.
  5. Select a unit type to measure your activity. These can be repetitions, seconds or metres.
  6. List the steps required to perform the activity.
    • Add an image from your camera or gallery
    • Add a description of the step
    • Press on the + icon to add more steps to the activity
  7. Finish by clicking on the tick at the top of the screen and review your activity.
  8. When you are happy with what you have made, press on the publish icon to finish.
Search for a workout

You can search for a workout by pressing on the “Find workouts” button in the main menu.

From there, there are many options to find workouts:

  1. Latest workout – This will show the newest workouts created
  2. Nearby workout – This will show you the closest workouts to you. This requires your location setting to be enabled.
  3. Map Search – You can use the map to search for a  workout.
  4. Workout search – You can filter workouts by name/creation date/proximity
Perform a workout

To perform a workout, follow these steps:

  1. Find or create a workout that you wish to execute, and select it to enter the Workout Details page.
  2. Press on the green icon to enter the Workout Execute page.
  3. Press play to begin the workout
Upgrade to Premium account

To become a premium user:

  1. Go to your user profile page by clicking on your profile in the drawer.
  2. Press on Premium button.
  3. A notification will appear to warn you that upgrading to premium will upgrade the current account that you are logged in. Press continue to pay.
  4. This will open the Google Play service payment option. This is charged to the current Google account that is logged in on the device.
  5. Follow the prompts and become a premium member.

Please note that the MokFit account you are logged in as may be different to the Google account that your device is logged in to.

How to map your run and Add stations and exercises to your workouts
  • Click on the create workout button
  • Select a starting point for your run by tapping on the map (You can move the map around and place the starting point wherever it suits you)
  • To add a second point to the map, simply hit the map again to add your second point (A line will draw between each point)
  • Keep adding points to the map until you have mapped out where you would like to run.

Handy Hints

If you would like your run to follow the road, simply hit the Road symbol on the first station and the line will automatically follow the nearest path or road along your route.

If you would like workout to be more challenging, select a station along your run and add an exercise.  Either type in the exercise you would like to do or scroll through the exercises.  

Troubleshooting

Logging Into MokFit
When I try to login I get a message “Not Verified, please check your email (and Spam folder)

When you create an account, an email would have been sent to you from ims@terrapages.com.  Terrapages is the company that has released MokFit.  When you open the email you will see a link in the body.  Simply click on the link and your account will then be verified.

Please note: Sometimes it may take up to a minute for the email to hit your inbox.  If you have not received this email within this time period in your inbox, please check your Spam folder as these emails can sometimes end up there.

When I enter my username and password I get the error, “User does not exist”

Both the username and password fields are case sensitive.  Please make sure that when you are entering your details into these fields, you enter them exactly as you created your account.

If you use Autofill to fill your username into the application when logging in, sometimes a space is made at the end of the username.  If a space does occur at the end of your username you will need to delete it.  You can do this by hitting the back button.  Once the space has been removed, enter your password and click login.  You should now be able to access the application
